The Aloe literally tightens the muscles in the skin, providing the firmness, the Flax provides the moisture and smoothness, and the Fenugreek is what nourishes the cells in the cellular level. It is this nourishment that keeps the cells in a healthy condition, thus prevents the drying and shrinking.
